The Role
This is a hands on role with ownership across multiple fund structures and underlying assets, combining financial control, investor reporting, and transaction exposure. Key responsibilities include:
- Ownership of fund reporting across multiple entities and structures, including quarterly and annual deliverables
- Oversight of statutory accounts under UK GAAP and IFRS, including consolidation across complex group structures
- Managing capital activity including drawdowns, distributions, and liquidity planning
- Leading audit processes and acting as the key contact for external auditors
- Oversight and management of third party administrators and outsourced providers
- Supporting investor reporting, board materials, and stakeholder communication
- Involvement in transactions including acquisitions, disposals, and financing activity
- Working closely with the investment team on asset level performance, valuations, and business planning
The role sits across both fund level and asset level activity, offering a broader perspective than a typical fund finance position.
The Profile
- ACA qualified with real estate fund experience gained working in house for a fund manager
- Strong technical grounding across UK GAAP and IFRS
- Experience working with complex fund structures and multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a lean environment with direct ownership
