About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Product Line Manager (PLM) to lead the global lifecycle, performance, and competitiveness of our assigned product line(s). In this role, you will own profitability, define market strategy, and collaborate closely across engineering, supply chain, sales, and service teams to ensure sustained commercial success. Key Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership & Financial Performance: Lead global product lifecycle strategy with accountability for global product profitability, including Capital OI, revenue, and contribution margin. Contribute to financial forecasting, performance reporting, and long‑term planning.
  • Market Research & Product Strategy: Conduct global market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor positioning. Define product features, applications, and market positioning in alignment with GPLM and cross‑functional partners.
  • Pricing & Commercial Strategy: Support the development and enforcement of global pricing strategies that balance margin optimization and revenue goals. Provide commercial and technical input to regional sales teams to support opportunity pursuit and profitable growth.
  • Sales Enablement & Marketing: Develop and maintain global product sales and marketing materials, including technical documentation, brochures, and data sheets. Train Regional Product Line Managers and sales teams on value proposition, differentiation, and applications. Track key customers, major opportunities, and installed base references.
  • Proposal & Application Support: Partner with the Global Proposal Team (GPT) to support technical specifications, sizing, product application guidance, cost estimation, and pricing. Ensure accurate, timely preparation of proposals and technical submissions.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Engineering and R&D to develop product roadmaps, introduce new products/features, and drive standardization initiatives. Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure competitive sourcing strategies and optimized manufacturing plans. Support execution teams (Execution and Engineering) to ensure successful delivery and long‑term product success. Align with the Services Business Line to support aftermarket growth, including spare parts, upgrades, and retrofits.

  • Product proposal quality and DIFOT execution
  • Successful product launches and roadmap adherence
  • Market competitiveness and customer adoption

Skills & Competencies

  • Behavioral Competencies: Strong strategic thinking and ability to set global product direction; High organizational savvy and business acumen; Accountability and ownership mindset; Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; Ability to become the subject matter expert for assigned products; Commercial literacy in contract review and pricing decisions.
  • Functional Competencies: Product lifecycle management; Market and competitor analysis; Deep technical and commercial understanding of vacuum filtration technologies, including horizontal belt, disc, drum, and horizontal pan filters; Cross‑functional project leadership; Financial understanding (margin, costing, pricing); Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of experience in product management, applications engineering, or related technical/commercial role. Hands-on experience with vacuum filtration products, including horizontal belt filters, disc filters, drum filters, and horizontal pan filters. Experience working in a global industrial/manufacturing environment is strongly preferred. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
