Our client is seeking an experienced Transport office administrator for their 2pm to 10pm shift Monday to Friday based in Stratton. This role is temporary with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
Daily duties include:
- Ensure all customer requirements (both internal and external) are satisfied on a daily basis.
- Participate in daily driver de-brief (as required).
- Management of all suppliers to include: subcontractors, agencies, R&M service agents, fuel suppliers etc., ensuring all operational costs are controlled.
- Conduct regular driver/vehicle/trailer checks to ensure the highest standards of reliability and presentation are maintained as well as fleet control.
- Management of all in-cab technology.
- Use of Traffic Management system.
- Manage Driver training program to include Driver CPC.
- Ensure full compliance with all internal processes and procedures.
- Support the Transport supervisors and management team with driver hours and tachograph compliance, ensuring all drivers' legislation is adhered to.
- Ensure that all vehicles are maintained properly.
- The reporting and recording of vehicle defects by drivers.
- Ensure fleet records for depot are maintained to a high standard to include daily checks, defect reporting, servicing.
