We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives in the Swindon area.
About the Warehouse Operative role:
- Monday to Friday, Fixed shifts 6am-2.30pm, 10.30am-7pm, 2pm-10pm, paying £12.21ph or Night Shift, Sunday to Thursday, 9.45pm-6.15am, paying £13ph
- Enhanced rates for overtime
- Swindon based (Public transport available)
- Temporary to Permanent position
Duties / Responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative role:
- Order picking using scanner
- Packing orders
- Current Forklift licences is beneficial but if not have the willingness to train
- Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment
- Adhering to Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
Experience Required for the Warehouse Operative role:
- Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment, preferably within an order picking role
- Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment
- This role involves being on your feet and lifting products of various weights so you will need to be physically fit
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent team-working skills to effectively collaborate with other members of the team
- Computer literacy, including knowing how to use scanners
- The ability to work effectively under limited supervision
