We have immediate starts for Reach Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operatives on a Night Shift.
About the Reach Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative Role:
- Working hours are currently Monday to Wednesday, 8pm-6am & Thursday 8pm-5:30am, but may change to Sunday to Wednesday, 10pm - 6am & Thursday, 10pm-5:30am.
- Pay Rate is £14.41ph, rising to £14.61ph after 12 weeks.
- Overtime available, paid at enhanced overtime rate.
- Based in Dorcan area of Swindon.
- On bus route.
- Temporary ongoing role, with potential for permanent contract.
Duties for the Reach Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative role will include:
- This role will be a combination of operating a Reach Forklift Truck (stock replenishment) & order picking work, so you must be prepared to do both.
- Operating a Reach Forklift Truck (D2) to put stock away into racking or replenishing stock onto lower levels.
- Using a Low Level Order Picker (LLOP) & RF Scanner you will be picking products up to 20kgs ready for despatch.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, whilst adhering to Health & Safety procedures & regulations.
- Working as part of a team to ensure all picks are completed to meet daily targets.
Skills / requirements for the Reach Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative role:
- Current Reach (D2) Forklift Licence / Certificate.
- Recent experience of operating a Reach Forklift Truck (D2).
- Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Be physically fit due to the nature of the role - there is heavy lifting involved.
