Job description
HGV Class 1 or Class 2 Driver/Installer
Due to a growing customer base, several exciting positions have become available for full-time HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Driver/Installers to join a friendly team based in our depot at Royal Wootten Bassett. The successful candidate will earn £36920 plus overtime (average of £4k per year).
We deliver across the UK using 2-man teams and currently have depots in Swindon, London, Warrington, Tamworth, and Glasgow.
You must be physically fit, have a willingness to learn, a positive attitude and able to work in a team and think on your feet. Ideally you would have experience of delivering goods to complex places and be able to manoeuvre heavy goods safely and efficiently using a variety of mechanical and non-mechanical handling equipment, but we are prepared to train the right candidate. You will be moving a variety of expensive equipment from ATMs to Medical Equipment.
A successful applicant must hold;
- HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
- Full, UK driving licence
- Digital tachograph card
- Driver CPC
A CSCS card would be a benefit but not essential. This and ongoing training or qualifications (including DCPC and drivers medical) will be provided and paid for.
Standard working pattern is 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday, however out of hours working including evenings and weekends will be required at times and so flexibility is key.
