A fantastic opportunity is available for Recovery Technicians to join this prestigious Breakdown & Recovery Organization. Based in Glasgow, the successful candidate can earn in excess of £32,000 per annum, with overtime available.
As a Recovery Driver, your main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Attending broken down vehicles by the roadside
- Loading and transporting broken down vehicles from the roadside to a designated drop-off point
- Assisting members in a stressful time of need
To be considered for the role, you must be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative. The company requires all candidates to have recent driving experience and are especially interested in speaking to candidates with:
- Full HGV Class 2 License
- Experienced certificated Hiab Operators
Recovery industry experience is not required as full training will be given.
Benefits include induction training and continued training throughout employment. Shifts will include day, back, and night shifts, and will include weekend working as part of the roster.
Candidates must pass Police Scotland vetting.
As an HGV Class 2 Recovery Technician, you will be utilising your core skills in driving and commercial driving to provide efficient and safe recovery services. Your premium skill in operating a flatbed will be essential in handling various types of vehicles. With relevant experience as a delivery driver, you will excel in transporting and recovering vehicles with precision and care. This role requires a Category C Licence and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no prior experience is needed.
