Minute Media is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Publishing Technology team! If you’re passionate about building web applications at scale and want to contribute to platforms that power Sports Illustrated, FanSided, The Players' Tribune, and more, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do- Develop and enhance frontend applications using technologies like JavaScript, React, and Tailwind.
- Work on large-scale, high-traffic sites that serve millions of users monthly.
- Collaborate with a global remote team to build and optimize publishing platforms.
- Contribute to backend services (Node.js, Golang, or PHP experience is a plus).
- Leverage AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) to improve productivity, code quality, and iteration speed.
- 3+ years of experience in web development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Bonus: Experience with Node.js, Golang, or PHP.
- Passion for online publishing and content‑driven platforms.
- Comfort using AI‑powered coding tools as part of your daily development workflow.
- Self‑motivated, collaborative, and excited about working in a fully remote environment.
