We have a great opportunity to join a Community Interest Company (CIC) under a larger local Group company. Based in Banbury, Oxfordshire as a Part Time Sales Person for a unique community initiative.

Job Title: Part-Time Salesperson
Purpose of the role
To promote and sell our clients products to end users in the local Banbury area, highlighting the value of their high-quality products and the social impact of supporting a Community Interest Company (CIC). The role is essential in growing their local customer base and building long-term relationships that benefit both the customer and the wider community.
Our client is a Community Interest Company (CIC) committed to producing high-quality cleaning and hygiene products while giving back to the local Banbury community. Key Responsibilities

Identify, approach and build relationships with businesses in Banbury.
*
Act as a door opener – generating your own leads, cold calling and creating new opportunities.
*
Promote the full range of our clients\’ products, demonstrating their benefits and the value of supporting a social enterprise.
*
Manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts.
*
Attend local events or initiatives to raise awareness of the CIC.
*
Provide excellent customer service and ongoing support.
*
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
*
Provide regular reports and feedback.
Person Specification:
Essential:
*
Proven experience in a sales role (B2B or field-based preferred).
*
Proven experience with cold calling and opening doors to new business opportunities.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*
Ability to sell a value-based product rather than a low-cost one.
*
Knowledge of the local Banbury area and a passion for community-focused work.
*
Self-motivated with strong organisational skills.
*
Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
Desirable
*
Experience working in or with social enterprises or community organisations.
*
Experience in the cleaning or hygiene sector.
