The Role
As an Accounts Payable Apprentice at 8×8, you’ll join a fast-moving Finance team and get hands-on experience from day one. You will learn how a global technology business manages its financial operations while working towards a recognised qualification and building real-world skills that set you up for a long-term finance career
What You’ll Do

Process and match purchase invoices against purchase orders

Set up and maintain supplier accounts, ensuring accurate records

Assist with supplier statement reconciliations and resolve queries in a timely manner

Support payment runs (BACS, CHAPS, and international payments)

Help with month-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations
-
Communicate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers professionally

Support the wider Finance team with ad hoc tasks and process improvement projects
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need prior finance experience—curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are what matter most.

5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above (including Maths and English), or equivalent
-
Strong numerical and analytical thinking

Organised, methodical, and dependable
-
Good communicator — written and verbal
-
Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets)
-
Eager to study for an AAT qualification.
