This is an in-office or hybrid role based in London, UK, with UK business hours, working with internal stakeholders to customize, configure, and maintain Salesforce to meet business needs and ensure efficient platform operation aligned with organizational goals.

The Salesforce Administrator will optimize Salesforce for user productivity, data accuracy, and process automation.

Overview

As the primary Salesforce Administrator, you will manage and enhance the Salesforce environment, including user management, security settings, data integrity, and system health.

You will collaborate with the IT/Biz Apps team, vendors, peers, and business customers to drive stability, performance, and governance within the Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities

  • System

Administration: Serve as the primary administrator, manage user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, security settings, and maintain system health and data integrity.

Participate in incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and assist in Disaster Recovery and High-Availability planning.

  • Customization and

Configuration: Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, workflows, validation rules, and automation processes.

Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making.

Optimization: Design and implement automations (Flows, Process Builder, Approvals) to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks.

Support integration with third-party tools and applications.

  • User Support and

Training: Provide day-to-day user support, troubleshoot issues, deliver training materials and sessions to improve adoption and proficiency.

Act as a Salesforce subject matter expert and guide users on best practices.

  • Data Management and

Reporting: Manage data imports/exports, deduplication, and ongoing data quality monitoring.

Create and manage custom reports and dashboards for multiple departments.

  • System Maintenance and

Innovation: Stay informed about Salesforce releases and best practices; test and implement new features; monitor performance and resolve technical issues promptly.

  • Independence and

Initiative: Work independently, be a self-starter, prioritize and complete tasks on time with or without detailed direction, and make timely decisions when needed.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a technical program (industry certifications or additional experience may offset degree requirement).
  • 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce configuration, user management, and data maintenance.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce tools such as Data Loader, Process Builder, and Flows.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including standard and custom objects, workflows, and reports.
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Salesforce administrative problems of low to medium complexity; ability to prioritize requests and meet deadlines.
  • Effective written and spoken communication, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Collaborative skills: follow-up, issue resolution, expectation setting, and navigating challenging situations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) or higher.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using Zapier, Mule Soft, or APIs.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce App Exchange products and add-ons.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Einstein Analytics.
