Sales & Marketing Intern
Duties & Responsibilities
- Marketing Plan
- Put together a group-wide extensive Marketing plan for 8 cre ATEive for each venue (Amalfitana, Fratelli and Rummin’ Tings) to follow
- Manage all aspects of individual marketing programs, including timelines, budgets, etc.
- Exercise creativity and judgment in devising, planning and managing marketing and promotional outreach activities
- Identify target audience segments, develop effective methods for reaching target markets and implement activities through print, digital, and/or e-marketing strategies
- Populate online event sites with venue activities
- Manage monthly newsletter EDM’s
- Plan and implement integrated marketing activities to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition via various marketing channels including, but not limited to, PR, social, brand collaborations, trade and social events in Hong Kong
- Build and maintain relationships with press, bloggers and KOLs to maximize brand and product publicity
- Conduct regular market research and analysis on market landscape, competitor’s analysis, consumer behaviors, media consumption for effective marketing planning
- Plan and implement marketing efforts for any new product and brand openings
- Manage marketing budget and project timelines
- Support Business Development and Sales with marketing collaterals in securing new business and revenue opportunities
- Drive incremental customers and as a result increase revenue into the venues
- Social Media
- Oversee Social Media Strategy along with partners and social media company (PRDA)/EHL intern
- Work with PRDA and partners on their Social Media Calendar/Photography for each venue for pre-scheduled posts once approved by partners
- Liaise with venues on regular basis on happenings at each venue and what they need promoted and communicate the same to PRDA and their photographer as needed
- Work with e Commerce team to implement and maintain local updates on brand website(s)
- Post Instagram Stories on a daily basis for Amalfitana and Fratelli and oversee the EHL Intern doing the same for Rummin’ Tings
- Graphic Design
- Oversee Graphic Design direction along with partners for the group and each venue
- Oversee production of marketing collaterals with graphic designer based on brand guidelines e. g. point-of-sales displays, flyers, tent cards, e DM, digital banners, premium gifts, vouchers, bill drops, HK Post Circulars, brochures to support sales and marketing activities
- Corporate Events
- Approach corporates (along with EHL intern) for more corporate events both onsite and offsite
- Create attractive corporate packages
- Manage corporate discounts and constantly add more multi-national companies
- Explore corporate sponsorship
- Loyalty Programme
- Manage relationship along with venue GM’s and Kalamansee loyalty programme to get the most out of it and be the liaison between them and our venues
- Database Management
- Get someone part-time for data entry if needed for a couple of days and populate and grow our master Database.
- Enter e-mail adds from all venue bookings received via info@ e-mails, Eatigo, Chope, Entertainer, Revel, Websites, etc.
- Maintain a database of regulars, local groups and area organizations and businesses constantly data mining, updating and building this.
- Use discretion in determining which to target for audience building, grassroots outreach

Requirements
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent working experience
- Experience in Event Management, Communications and/or Marketing
- Experience Managing External Relationships, including vendors and customers
- Detail-Oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong Communicator (written & verbal)
- People Person with a strong focus on Customer Service & Engagement
- Flexibility & Desire to be out and about promoting
- Some Graphic Design experience with In Design, Photoshop & Illustrator a plus
- Social Media Marketing (for businesses) experience preferred
- Represent the venue at community meetings to raise awareness, and identify, coordinate, and manage involvement in community events and happenings
