Our team in Leicester seeks an Account Handler / Personal Lines account handler who can manage a broad range of small and medium-sized clients. This role is key to ensuring the team can carry on delivering excellent client service and maintaining high retention.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with renewals, mid-term adjustments, documentation queries and quotations for additional products.
  • Work closely with account executives on larger cases.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and insurers to maximise retention levels.
  • Ensure documentation and systems are accurate and up to date.
  • Handle all cases in a compliant and timely manner.
  • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Strong grounding in commercial insurance with exposure to main products including Property, Liability, Fleet, PI, Directors & Officers, Cyber and packaged solutions.
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal), negotiation, relationship and stakeholder management skills combined with IT and influencing abilities and an eye for detail.
  • Comfortable dealing with customer enquiries via phone, face-to-face and email.
