New Business Account Executive – Midlands. Salary: Negotiable, plus car allowance, bonus, and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a personal pipeline of new business.
  • Add new introducers to your network.
  • Advise clients on new business quotations and coverage requirements, and ultimately on renewals.
  • Work with clients to expand and develop their coverage to ensure they have the right cover.
  • Liaise with the broking and support team to ensure all documentation is accurate.
  • Actively negotiate with underwriters to secure the best terms.
  • Work in a compliant and timely manner on all cases.
  • Ensure income and retention targets are achieved and maintained.
  • Work with the management team to achieve business objectives and support colleague development.

Qualifications

  • Solid grounding across the range of Commercial Insurance market.
  • High level communication skills (verbal, written, video).
  • Negotiation, influencing, sales, stakeholder management, delegation, and IT skills.
  • Client‑first mindset and confidence interacting with stakeholders at all levels, particularly board level.
  • Full driving licence.
