We are looking for an Insurance Broker (Maternity Cover) based in Eastbourne (Hybrid). This role is a long‑term opportunity for someone with existing insurance industry knowledge who is eager to progress by taking on wider responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of renewals allocated each month, together with MTA’s and cancellations.
  • Deal with new business enquiries.
  • Issue contract‑certain quotations and provide policy documentation.
  • Collect premiums and process premium finance transactions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and underwriters via telephone, email and face‑to‑face meetings as required.
  • Comply with company CPD & training requirements.
  • Work towards personal and team targets.
  • Assist with training for new staff when required.
  • Collaborate with management on projects and ad‑hoc requirements.

Your Experience

  • Relevant insurance industry experience and knowledge in Professional Indemnity/Medical Malpractice, Public and Employers Liability, and/or Directors and Officers Insurance.
  • Passion for client experience and pride in service.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, sales and IT skills with attention to detail and the confidence to handle difficult situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision.
