About this role
The Donor Engagement Manager is responsible for developing and delivering engagement programs and fundraising campaigns that maximise the value PositiveMedia provides for donors — spiritually, personally, and communally — while increasing PositiveMedia’s donor income. This is a full-time position with the flexibility to be structured as two part-time job share roles: Off-Air Campaign Manager (0.8 FTE) and Donor Journey Manager (0.4 FTE).
The Donor Engagement Manager role has two key areas of focus:
- Managing off-air fundraising campaigns: Ensuring high-quality, timely, and effective delivery of campaigns outside of on-air activities to maximise engagement and donor income.
- Managing donor engagement journeys: Design and deliver donor engagement programs to deepen donor relationships, build loyalty and increase giving outside of live fundraising periods.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Plan, coordinate, and implement high-quality off-air fundraising campaigns (e.g. direct mail, digital marketing, events, etc) to achieve donor engagement and income targets.
- Provide excellent project management to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget and with strong outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute creative, messaging, and distribution elements.
- Analyse campaign results, report on key performance indicators, and recommend improvements for future campaigns.
- Design and implement donor journeys that reflect different stages of the supporter lifecycle: acquisition, retention, upgrade and reactivation.
- Create personalised, timely, and meaningful communications to enhance the donor experience and drive loyalty and giving.
- Partner with the data and engagement teams to effectively segment audiences and tailor donor engagement activities.
- Monitor engagement metrics and donor feedback to continuously refine and improve supporter journeys.
- Lead projects independently and collaboratively, ensuring cross-functional alignment across fundraising and engagement efforts.
- Build strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
About You
We are seeking an exceptional marketing manager who can do all of the above and more. To thrive in this role you will have:
- Alignment with PositiveMedia’s Mission and Vision to see every life alight with the love of Jesus.
- Meticulous organisational skills and be highly detail oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative, empathetic, and team oriented.
- Adaptability and be able to perform under pressure.
- Strong decision-making and prioritisation skills.
This is a unique opportunity to work within a highly motivated, passionate and innovative workplace. If this sounds like a great fit for you and you get who we are and what we do, we would love to hear from you. Please submit a resume and cover letter. Applications without a cover letter will not be considered. Applicants must have full working rights in Australia and be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work.
