Lead React Front End Software Engineer required by Fintech success story. Working remotely (anywhere within the UK) and happy to get together once a month for engineering brainstorming in London, this is a fantastic opportunity to be the hands-on lead re everything front end and react.
As an experienced React Front End Software Engineer, you'll be interested in designing and developing high quality React applications. You'll be collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design software architectures, and implement software features. You'll be creating and enhancing high quality React-based web interfaces, and our React Native mobile app, as they're used by an ever-increasing number of people in the UK.
I must reiterate this would be ideal for a software engineering enthusiast as opposed to an individual who just wishes to develop websites. Engineering will look to you (and the team) to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
As well as developing and maintaining software testing suites, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests, you'll also participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
Strong programming skills in React and experience of leading a team of around 4-6 engineers with a deep understanding of adding features and idioms. Experience working on mobile apps is advantageous. Rounded knowledge of software engineering principles and practices, such as design patterns, code organisation, and testing strategies.
