Purpose: This position supports the final cleaning and packaging of a wide variety of orthopedic implants, including repacks and Continuing Care products. Tasks include coordinating return and onward processing of repack inventory from Capitol Park and the EDC, cleaning products, product inspection, sterile packaging, labelling, and facilitating daily shipment of products for each irradiation vendor/process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the flow of repack inventory from EDC/Capitol Park as per agreed plan.
  • Receipt and put‑away of repack inventory into physical and transactional locations.
  • Expedite work orders to agreed day rate/product mix.
  • Work with customs and Prototype team to support Continuing Care orders.
  • Receipt and pick raw materials to support Leeds legacy made and Continuing Care products.
  • Operate cleaning systems for implants (Hamo and Optimal Passivation Line).
  • Apply cGMP hygiene specifications and internal quality systems to all finished products and packaging materials.
  • Accurately interpret technical specifications, work instructions, overlays and use associated measuring equipment.
  • Prioritise own workload and meet tight deadlines within Health, Safety and Environmental policy and current legislations.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships and ensure open communication with all internal and external resources.
  • Perform minor routine machine maintenance (OAC, tooling changes, daily and weekly checks and routine cleaning).
  • Maintain housekeeping in Clean & Pack areas, following daily/monthly cleaning procedures.
  • Dispose of all cardboard and waste materials correctly and replenish consumables (packaging materials, nitrogen and Plaz Plus bottles) on time.
  • Adhere to all EHS, Quality & Finance procedures.
  • Communicate business‑related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • Follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices.
  • If supervising staff, ensure they follow Company guidelines for Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that necessary resources are available and in good condition.
  • Perform other duties assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Practical experience working within a cleanroom environment.
  • Experience with cGMP.
  • Ability to operate and navigate computer systems and access software.
  • Results- and customer-driven approach.
