In the Human Capital Management division, we provide advice and insight to attract, retain, reward and develop a talented global workforce, giving employees the support and tools they need to succeed. This is a Vice President level position within the HR Solutions team.

Background on the Team

The HCMSD (Solutions Delivery) team is responsible for the scope, design, transition of services, and ultimately the successful launch of an HR Solutions Service Delivery. Success in this role will enable the end-to-end delivery of HR value streams, world class HR experiences across all stakeholders and drive a more efficient HR organization. The HCMSD senior lead should champion end-to-end process optimization, integrate HR processes into a global operational network, empower service providers, and establish accountability across the organization. As a result, this role will deliver transformative performance improvements, end-to-end experiences when stakeholders interact with HCM, globally consistent levels of service and overall efficiency improvements.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Be accountable for managing the performance and operation of Glasgow Operations.
  • Ensure the compliance and accuracy of all Service Delivery work with all policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships in EMEA, including escalation of any issues with outsourced vendor partners.
  • Ensure the Service Delivery Team delivers business outcomes in support of the overall goals of the HCM.
  • Ensure consistency, standardization of process, and ease of use while cultivating and sustaining world-class partnerships with the business.
  • Establish a value-driven and consistent culture across the function that is metrics driven, outcome-focused, process-based, service-oriented, and focused on continuous improvement.
  • Enhance and expand the scope and impact of the HCMSD (Human Capital Management Service Delivery) Function at Glasgow.
  • Responsible for Glasgow communication – highlighting local news, training and anything that may impact the team and reporting to ES Team Manager.
  • First point of contact for queries/escalations from team and stakeholders.
  • Lead monthly team planning meeting and assist with daily sub-team huddles where required.
  • Manage team action/improvement logs and risk tickets – prepare reports, identify gaps in knowledge and arrange necessary training.
  • Maintaining accurate level of process documentation.
  • Responsible for new joiners into ES, i.e. ensure first day arrangements and training plan in place.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects, i.e. transition of new processes into HCMSD.
  • Provide cover across ES during periods of absence/leave.

  • Proven experience of operational excellence – implementation and re-engineering of existing processes.
  • Customer service focused with a sense of urgency.
  • Competency in excel and power point skills required. Ability to quickly learn and embrace new toolsets.
