This is a full-time position based in Glasgow, United Kingdom. The role involves supporting the Head of the Finance Central Policy Office and Governance Lead in developing a transparent governance framework. The candidate will oversee and monitor operational risks, validate financial and regulatory reports, and reinforce regulatory compliance within Morgan Stanley's global finance division.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with colleagues across Finance and the firm
- Leading deliverables and projects based on in-depth knowledge of finance areas
- Ensuring adherence to risk, regulatory standards, policies, and controls
- Embodied leadership and example-setting in line with firm values
- Implementing and owning the Finance Policy & Procedure Governance Framework
- Reviewing and maintaining supervisory documentation as per regulatory mandates
Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of finance functions, products, or client segments
- Ability to operate independently and provide constructive feedback
- Experience in financial services or compliance, with understanding of regulatory environment preferred
