Job Role: Construction Project Coordinator

Area: East London

Salary: £30k – £35k

My client is looking for a Construction Project Coordinator to join the pre-construction team based in East London.

The Project Coordinator will support the Project Managers and Project Directors to deliver projects across the UK. You will support the delivery of the full project life cycle across multiple complex projects ensuring the high standards and deadlines are met. Success in this role will require the development of effective working relationships with clients, contractors, and senior leaders in the business.

Responsibilities

  1. Support Project managers tracking individual projects through the pre-construction process and ensuring activities happen when they should.
  2. Responsible for arranging and attending site meetings where appropriate and producing detailed site meeting minutes as required.
  3. Generate tender lists for projects with the support of the Project Managers.
  4. Check measures on drawings versus measures stated in tender returns and review with Project Managers.
  5. To assist Project Managers with cost reporting process, including but not limited to project specific reports and budgetary trackers.
  6. Updating project programmes to ensure all project delivery dates are met.
  7. Providing weekly updated reports for clients.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be

  1. Experience of contractor/ Client-side contracts and project management within retail, leisure or hospitality.
  2. A proven track record in supporting the project management lifecycle in retail hospitality and leisure interior fit outs across the UK.
  3. A good understanding of construction safety requirements and H&S legislation.
  4. UK Driving License.
