I am supporting a digital transformation consultancy, who are currently hiring a Network Security Architect.
About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Network Security Architect to help design and improve security for our systems. You will work with different teams to make sure our networks are safe and meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and improve security systems using tools like Illumio, VMware NSX, or similar.
- Manage firewall rules and security policies across different vendors (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet).
- Apply Zero Trust security principles to protect networks and systems.
- Work with VLAN segmentation, Software-Defined Networking (SDN), and cloud security tools.
- Secure cloud and hybrid environments, including Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Conduct risk assessments and develop security solutions.
- Create and document security models to ensure automation and efficiency.
- Automate security tasks using Terraform, Python, and security platforms like SOAR and SIEM.
