Pay: $18.00 – $19.50/hour, DOE, plus full benefits

Summary/Objective
As a Window Technician, you are primarily responsible for ensuring that window services and warranties are completed to 84 Lumber\’s standards. These include staging orders, prepping openings, complying with installation methods for window reglazes, screen outs, window adjustments, and job site clean-up. You will work with store personnel to achieve maximum efficiency, use 84Sales for jobsite maintenance and record-keeping, and mitigate losses through proper installation methods. All work must comply with OSHA regulations.

Additional Competencies
- Ability to read and understand instructions, blueprints, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively communicate one-on-one.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed or simple instructions; deal with standardized situations.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use scheduling systems from mobile devices.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This role involves outdoor work or exposure to wet, humid, hot, or cold conditions. It may require working near moving mechanical parts, with vibrations, airborne particles, or chemicals, and poses risks like electrical shock.
Physical Demands
Frequent standing, sitting, walking, hand use, reaching, lifting, talking, and listening. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, depending on operational hours.
Travel
Local travel is expected.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED, or related experience/training
- Valid Driver\’s License
- Clean driving record
- Minimum age requirement to operate vehicle
Responsibilities include staging loads, site prep, product installation, site clean-up, and driving.
Qualifications include the ability to read and understand instructions, and to carry out simple instructions, dealing with standardized situations with minimal variables.
