Location: North-West

We are seeking an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer with strong Siemens expertise to work on high-profile projects across commercial and critical environments. This role involves commissioning, testing, and optimising Siemens BMS installations, working closely with project teams and clients to ensure systems operate exactly as intended. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys taking ownership of commissioning activities from start to finish and thrives in technically challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commission Siemens Desigo BMS systems across live and new-build sites
  • Configure and test Desigo PX / PXC controllers
  • Work with Desigo CC, including graphics, alarms, trends, and schedules
  • Carry out FATs, SATs, functional testing, and client witness testing
  • Integrate BMS with HVAC plant, metering, and third-party systems using BACnet
  • Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and communications issues
  • Produce commissioning documentation and handover packs
  • Support clients post-handover with system optimisation and fine-tuning

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience commissioning Siemens BMS systems
  • Hands-on experience with Desigo CC and Siemens controller configuration
  • Strong understanding of HVAC plant and control strategies
  • Experience with BACnet integration and fault-finding
  • Ability to work independently on site
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Experience with Desigo Insight or legacy Siemens estates
  • Exposure to other BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium, or Schneider
  • ECS or CSCS card
  • Experience working in healthcare, data centres, or critical infrastructure environments
