Contract Role: CPQ QA / UAT Lead - Outside IR35 £475/day | 4–6 Months | June Start | Hybrid (Gerrards Cross – 1 day/week) or Remote
I’m working on a contract assignment for a business investing heavily in streamlining their revenue operations through Salesforce CPQ and Conga CLM. They’re after a hands-on QA / UAT Lead who can take ownership of quality and user testing across a business-critical transformation programme. This is a hybrid role with just 1 day a week onsite in Gerrards Cross, though fully remote candidates won’t be discounted. The contract kicks off in June and runs for an initial 4–6 months, with scope to extend.
The focus: You’ll lead end-to-end testing across Salesforce CPQ and Conga CLM, ensuring smooth integration and functionality. That includes owning QA strategy, documenting user test scripts, executing UAT, and driving issue resolution in partnership with business and tech teams.
Required Expertise:
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Strong hands-on QA experience, with proven ability in both manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in testing Salesforce CPQ and Conga CLM integrations.
- Experience building test strategies and automation frameworks.
- Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse requirements, develop test strategies and plans, and execute both manual and automated test cases across our Salesforce CPQ and Conga CLM platforms.
- Design, implement, and enhance test automation frameworks using appropriate Salesforce testing tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with teams including Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, Order Management, and Legal to ensure complete test coverage based on real-world use cases.
- Ensure business requirements are accurately mapped to functional specifications with adequate test coverage.
- Perform both functional and non-functional testing to validate system performance and reliability.
- Lead a small team of QA testers, providing guidance on best practices and tracking progress on manual and automated test efforts.
- Identify, document, and manage defects using issue tracking tools (e.g. Salesforce Tracker), working closely with the Bluewave implementation team to ensure timely resolution.
