An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Design Engineer to support major new product development programmes within a globally recognised engineering environment. This role focuses on delivering robust design solutions for advanced engine systems.
- Design and development of engine components (castings, geartrain, valvetrain, drivetrain, in-cylinder components)
- Support system-level design (cooling, lubrication, breather, FEAD)
- Lead project tasks and manage deliverables
- Perform FMEA and risk analysis
- Participate in design reviews and validation activities
Minimum 6 years' experience in design engineering
- Advanced CAD skills (Creo preferred)
- Knowledge of casting, machining, and manufacturing processes
- Experience with assembly principles and design validation
- Off-highway or diesel engine experience
Long-term contract with strong project pipeline.
