London office, home working and travel to UK client sites. You must already hold, or be eligible to obtain, UK Security Clearance. This is an urgent hire so low or no notice period considered an advantage.

We’re looking for someone who can take an unclear business challenge and turn it into a practical data, AI or digital solution. This is not a narrowly defined Data Architect role. You could come from data and AI, cloud architecture, digital product development, engineering or technology consulting. What matters is your ability to understand the problem, shape the solution and help carry it through into delivery.

The role involves working directly with clients to explore opportunities, challenge assumptions and design solutions that deliver measurable value. Your work could involve modernising an existing data platform, identifying where AI can improve a business process, shaping a new digital product or defining the architecture and roadmap for a broader transformation programme.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading client discovery and solution-design workshops
  • Turning ambiguous requirements into clear technical solutions
  • Designing target-state architectures, roadmaps and delivery approaches
  • Shaping solutions across data, analytics, cloud, automation and AI
  • Assessing AI use cases and deciding what is genuinely worth pursuing
  • Producing architecture diagrams, high-level designs and technical documentation
  • Working with engineering, data, security and business teams throughout delivery
  • Supporting proposals, bids and early-stage solution development
  • Explaining complex ideas clearly to both technical and senior business stakeholders

What we’re looking for:

You don’t need to have followed one particular career path. You may currently be a Solutions Architect, Data or AI Consultant, Digital Solutions Lead, Technical Product Manager or Technology Transformation Manager. You will, however, need to demonstrate:

  • Experience designing and delivering technology solutions in a client-facing environment
  • The ability to turn loosely defined problems into structured, deliverable solutions
  • A strong understanding of architecture, integration and the end-to-end delivery lifecycle
  • Practical exposure to data, analytics, machine learning or Generative AI
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary delivery teams
  • The ability to balance technical quality, commercial value and delivery reality
  • Enough technical depth to challenge engineers and make credible design decisions

Your experience might include:

  • Azure, AWS or hybrid and multi-cloud environments
  • Data platforms, pipelines, APIs and systems integration
  • Machine learning, Generative AI, RAG or AI-enabled automation
  • AI governance, security-by-design or regulated environments
  • Architecture artefacts including HLDs, LLDs and target-state roadmaps

We’re particularly interested in people who are comfortable operating between strategy and delivery: credible in the boardroom, technically strong with delivery teams and motivated by turning good ideas into solutions that work in the real world.
