Prisma Access Consultant â Public Sector
Location: UK (Remote / Hybrid)
83zero are working in partnership with a global leader to deliver a major secure network and cloud security transformation programme within the UK Public Sector. As part of this programme, we are seeking an experienced Prisma Access Consultant to play a key role in the design, implementation, and optimisation of Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access solutions in highly secure and regulated environments.
This is a senior, handsâon consulting role, suited to an individual who has delivered enterpriseâscale Prisma Access deployments and is comfortable working in complex, missionâcritical environments.
The Role
The successful consultant will be responsible for the technical delivery of Prisma Access and wider Palo Alto SASE solutions, working closely with architects, engineers, and security stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the design and implementation of Prisma Access solutions across secure environments
- Delivering SASE and Zero Trust architectures aligned to client security standards and frameworks
- Integrating Prisma Access with existing Palo Alto Networks security platforms (NGFW, Panorama, etc.)
- Supporting migrations from traditional network and security models to cloudâdelivered security services
- Providing technical leadership, documentation, and knowledge transfer to internal teams and stakeholders
- Troubleshooting complex technical issues and optimising performance, security posture, and resilience
- Ensuring all solutions meet public sector governance, compliance, and assurance requirements
Required Experience and Skills
- Strong, handsâon experience delivering Prisma Access in enterprise or public sector environments
- Deep technical knowledge of Palo Alto Networks technologies
- Proven experience working within Public Sector or highly regulated environments
- Strong understanding of cloud security and secure network transformation
- Experience producing highâquality technical documentation and designs
- Ability to operate in a consulting capacity, owning delivery and engaging confidently with senior stakeholders
Desirable (but not essential)
- Palo Alto Networks certifications (PCNSE, PCNSA or equivalent)
- Experience working on largeâscale network or security transformation programmes
- Experience in central government, defence, or critical national infrastructure environments
- Knowledge of adjacent technologies and vendors within the SASE and cloud security ecosystem
