We’re looking for an experienced RAN Deployment & Integration Engineer with strong LTE/5G experience to join our team and play a key role in the deployment, commissioning, integration and troubleshooting of multi-vendor RAN networks.
This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer with hands-on experience across Mobile Networks, Private 5G and Enterprise Wireless Networks, who enjoys solving technical challenges and seeing projects through from deployment to customer handover.
The Role
As a RAN Deployment & Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the successful deployment and integration of advanced wireless networks.
Your responsibilities will include
• Installing and integrating RAN equipment, including
- Baseband Units (BBU)
- Remote Radio Units (RRU/RRH)
- Performing radio commissioning and integration.
- Configuring cells, frequencies, radio parameters and network features.
- Performing radio software loading and upgrades.
- Validating synchronisation, coverage, mobility and connectivity.
- Supporting ATP execution, acceptance testing and customer handover.
- Troubleshooting RAN alarms and hardware issues.
- What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in LTE/5G RAN deployment and integration.
• Hands-on experience with
- 4G LTE
- Private 5G RAN
- Experience with RAN vendors including Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, Huawei, Open RAN platforms or equivalent solutions.
- Strong knowledge of RAN commissioning, cell configuration, radio integration, RAN troubleshooting and performance validation.
- Understanding of 5G architecture, network slicing and Open RAN concepts.
- Experience working with customers, vendors and deployment partners.
- Ability to manage technical issues during deployment.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills. Ability to communicate technical information clearly.
