About the Role
We’re building out a forward-thinking consulting capability, and we’re looking for a Training Professional who can deliver high-impact Data & AI training to a wide range of end users – including those who may be less comfortable with technology or change. This is a hands-on training delivery role. You’ll be designing, shaping, and delivering training programmes that help client teams adopt new tools, new ways of working, and new digital capabilities. You’ll spend time creating clear, practical training collateral… but the majority of your time will be in front of people, delivering sessions, coaching, supporting and guiding them through real adoption. Some delivery will be remote, but a significant portion will be on client sites across the UK — so we need someone who is genuinely happy to travel to where the work is. We’re not requiring current security clearance, but the ability to become SC-cleared in future would be highly advantageous given the type of clients we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality training sessions (remote and on-site) across Data, AI and related digital tooling.
- Adapt content and delivery style for a wide range of audiences — including resistant, non-technical or “old-school” users.
- Create training materials, guides, exercises, walk-throughs and supporting collateral.
- Work closely with consultants and client stakeholders to understand requirements and tailor training accordingly.
- Provide post-training support, coaching and follow-up sessions.
- Contribute to wider change and adoption initiatives within client programmes.
- Apply project controls awareness to ensure training activity aligns with programme schedules, milestones and reporting.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of Data & AI concepts, use cases and tools.
- Represent the consulting practice professionally on client sites across the UK.
About You
You’ll be a strong communicator with proven experience delivering training in a technical or digital environment. You don’t need to be a data scientist — but you do need to be “technical enough” to understand data concepts, AI fundamentals, workflows, and tools so you can train others confidently.
Essential
- Experience designing and delivering technical or digital training.
- Strong understanding of Data & AI concepts (e.g., data literacy, analytics basics, AI/ML fundamentals, risks, governance, common tools).
- Comfort working with non-technical or resistant groups; able to break down complexity simply.
- Ability to produce clear, engaging training collateral (slides, guides, exercises, labs, etc.).
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK for client-site delivery.
- Solid communication, facilitation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Exposure to project controls (scheduling, reporting, RAID, milestones, governance).
Desirable
- Experience working within consulting, transformation, or large-scale change environments.
- Background training users on modern data tools, AI platforms, or cloud-based solutions.
- Experience with adult learning principles, coaching or instructional design.
- Ability to become SC-cleared in future (UK resident for 5+ years, clean background).
