A scaling up consulting firm is seeking a strategic and commercially driven Industry Lead to lead growth and engagement within the Defence sector. This is a high-profile role with a focus on delivering AI and Data-driven transformation for defence.
About the Role
This is a senior, client-facing position requiring a rare blend of consulting experience , domain expertise , and business development skills . You will lead go-to-market strategy, manage senior relationships, and sell innovative solutions that solve complex mission-critical challenges in the Defence domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client engagement and growth across key Defence accounts
- Own and execute a go-to-market plan focused on AI, Data, and Digital Transformation solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders in government and defence organisations
- Drive pipeline development and manage complex sales cycles through to close
- Work cross-functionally with solution teams and delivery leaders to ensure successful outcomes
- Act as a thought leader and represent the firm in key Defence forums
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong consulting background with experience in Defence engagements
- Demonstrated ability to sell complex services or technology solutions into Defence organisations
