The Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll lead the successful delivery of complex Microsoft-focused transformation programmes from pre-sales through to successful implementation. Alongside project delivery, you'll act as a senior figure within the Project Management team, mentoring colleagues, promoting best practice and helping to continuously improve delivery standards across the business. This is the ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys remaining hands-on whilst also taking on greater leadership responsibility.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver complex end-to-end Microsoft technology projects within Higher Education.
  • Manage multiple client engagements from mobilisation through to successful delivery.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Own project governance, planning, budgets, reporting, risk and commercial performance.
  • Support pre-sales activities and solution delivery.
  • Mentor and coach Project Managers across the wider delivery team.
  • Help develop delivery standards, governance and project methodologies.
  • Support career development, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the PM function.
  • Work closely with internal consultants, technical teams and customers to ensure successful project outcomes.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience delivering end to end technology or digital transformation projects within Higher Education.
  • Previous experience delivering Microsoft-focused projects such as Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure, Power Platform or Copilot.
  • Strong stakeholder management and commercial awareness.
  • Someone who enjoys mentoring, supporting and developing others.
  • A collaborative leader who leads by example and isn't afraid to remain hands-on.
  • Experience managing multiple projects within a consultancy or professional services environment.
  • PRINCE2, APM, Agile or similar Project Management certification would be beneficial.
