Overview: We're looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join a leading global consultancy delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes across sectors including Financial Services, Public Sector, Retail, Consumer Products and Utilities. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology projects, helping clients design and deliver modern digital solutions, including AI-enabled products, automation and data-driven platforms.

The Role: Working alongside Product Owners, Architects, Developers and Delivery teams, you'll play a key role in translating business requirements into technical solutions that deliver real business value. You'll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from discovery and analysis through to solution design and delivery, ensuring solutions are scalable, user-focused and technically robust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into technical user stories and functional specifications.
  • Work closely with architects, developers and stakeholders to shape solution design.
  • Analyse systems, processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support product roadmaps, backlog refinement and Agile delivery.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation and requirements.
  • Work across system integration, databases and enterprise platforms.
  • Contribute to successful project delivery using Agile, Scrum, SAFe or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Collaborate on AI, automation and digital transformation initiatives where appropriate.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Technical Business Analyst within complex technology environments.
  • Strong understanding of software delivery, system integration and technical architecture.
  • Experience analysing data using tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI or Tableau.
  • Comfortable working with databases, data modelling and data transformation.
  • Experience writing technical requirements, user stories and functional documentation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Desirable Experience:

  • Exposure to AI, Generative AI or Machine Learning projects.
  • Experience working alongside Data Engineers, Data Scientists or Analytics teams.
  • Understanding of data pipelines, governance and modern cloud technologies.
  • Industry experience within Financial Services, Public Sector, Retail, Utilities or Consumer Products.
  • Business Analysis or Agile certifications.
