The Opportunity:
We're looking for an experienced Salesforce Lead to take ownership of our Salesforce platform, driving its ongoing development, optimisation and strategic direction across the business. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical expertise, stakeholder engagement and people management. You'll be responsible for ensuring Salesforce continues to support business growth while leading the adoption and integration of Salesforce Agentforce, helping to introduce AI-driven automation and improve customer and employee experiences. Working closely with business stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, Operations and Technology, you'll identify opportunities to enhance processes, deliver new functionality and maximise platform adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the Salesforce platform strategy, roadmap and day-to-day management.
- Lead the design, development and optimisation of Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Drive the implementation and integration of Salesforce Agentforce, identifying AI use cases that improve productivity and customer engagement.
- Manage and mentor one direct report, providing technical guidance and supporting their development.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Oversee platform configuration, automation, security, user management and data quality.
- Work with third-party partners where required to deliver larger projects and integrations.
- Ensure platform stability, governance and best practice across the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Champion continuous improvement and promote user adoption through training and engagement.
- Stay up to date with new Salesforce releases, AI capabilities and emerging technologies.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience leading or owning a Salesforce platform within a commercial organisation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce administration and configuration.
- Experience delivering Salesforce projects across Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
- Knowledge of Salesforce automation tools including Flows and approval processes.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications and business systems.
- Exposure to Salesforce development technologies (Apex, Lightning Web Components or APIs) is beneficial.
- Experience implementing or working with Salesforce Agentforce or other Salesforce AI capabilities would be highly desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills.
- Previous people management or mentoring experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
