I'm recruiting for an experienced Cyber Governance Consultant to join a leading cybersecurity consulting team delivering high-impact security and governance solutions across government and secure-sector clients. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex cyber governance, risk and compliance programmes, helping organisations strengthen their security posture while meeting regulatory and business requirements.
What you'll be doing
- You'll work closely with clients to assess, design and improve cybersecurity governance frameworks, providing strategic advice across areas including:
- Cyber governance, risk and compliance (GRC)
- Gap analysis against recognised security frameworks
- Threat modelling, risk assessments and mitigation planning
- Security policy development, review and compliance
- Third-party risk management and cyber resilience
- Cloud and network security governance
- Data protection, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and information security controls
- Supporting organisations through internal and external audits
- Developing security roadmaps and governance strategies
What we're looking for
- We're keen to speak with consultants who have experience in one or more of the following:
- Cyber Governance, Risk Compliance (GRC)
- Delivering security consulting engagements
- Implementing or assessing controls against recognised frameworks including:
- ISO 27001
- NIST
- NIS
- NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF)
- DORA
- TISAX
- IEC 62443
- Conducting cyber risk assessments and governance reviews
- Developing security policies, standards and procedures
- Building business cases and regulatory compliance roadmaps
- Balancing security, business risk and operational practicality
Security Requirements
- Due to the nature of the work, applicants must:
- Be a sole UK national
- Hold active SC (Security Check) clearance
- Have lived continuously in the UK for the last five years
