I'm currently working with a growing technology consultancy who are looking to bring a Solution Architect into their expanding delivery team. The business works with organisations across telecommunications, financial services, insurance and healthcare, helping clients design and deliver modern technology solutions.

Joining a client-facing consulting team, you'll work across a variety of transformation and technology projects, working closely with clients to understand their requirements and translate these into scalable, secure and practical solutions. You'll be responsible for designing end-to-end solutions across the Microsoft technology stack, with a strong focus on Azure, cloud architecture and modern application platforms. You'll work closely with developers, engineers, project teams and senior stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.

The company have offices in London and are looking for someone who is happy to work from the office 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end technology solutions across the Microsoft and Azure stack.
  • Develop solution architectures aligned with business requirements and technical standards.
  • Produce architecture diagrams, technical documentation and solution designs.
  • Work closely with development, data, infrastructure and security teams.
  • Engage with clients and senior stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the design and delivery lifecycle.

Experience Required

  • Strong commercial experience as a Solution Architect within Microsoft technology environments.
  • Strong experience across Microsoft technologies, particularly Azure and cloud architecture.
  • Good understanding of .NET / C#, APIs, integration and modern application platforms.
  • Experience with Azure networking, security, identity/IAM and Azure SQL / SQL Server.
  • Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
  • Previous experience in client-facing consulting and/or Financial Services environments.

Nice to Have

  • Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-305 or AZ-104.
  • Experience with Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365.
  • Exposure to Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps or Service Bus.
  • Experience with AKS, containers, Terraform or Bicep.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power BI or modern data platforms.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.

Salary: £80,000-£90,000
