We are on the lookout for a talented and motivated Cloud DevOps Engineers to join a dynamic Cloud Pod. The client works in focused, agile teams called Pods - groups of technical professionals who come together to build and maintain cloud platforms. Your Role:
- Design, build, and maintain cloud platforms with a focus on reusability, standardisation, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Work in agile, outcome-focused teams that align closely with client goals.
- Grow your expertise through training, certifications, and hands-on experience.
- Contribute to the evolution of Capgemini's cloud offerings through shared learning and innovation.
Your skills and experience:
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes (EKS), GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines for enterprise cloud deployments using code-based approaches.
- Skilled in day-to-day operations including monitoring, patching, upgrading, Landing Zone Accelerator (LZA), and security management.
- Strong foundation in infrastructure and networking principles, complemented by experience working in agile teams and familiarity with ITIL frameworks for end-to-end service delivery.
- Knowledge of AWS Landing Zone Accelerator components such as Service Control Policies (SCP), YAML, CloudFormation, and Identity Manager.
- Exposure to AWS Outposts and hybrid cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
- Ability to lead or contribute to technical discussions across architecture and engineering teams, driving best practices and innovative solutions.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- You must be eligible for Security Check (SC) clearance.
- Applicants must have resided continuously in the UK for the past 5 years.
