83zero is partnered with a government funded organization who are a coalition of intelligence and security agencies within the United Kingdom. They are looking for someone to join as the Technical Support Engineer for a 20-month contract where they will be delivering advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution for customer systems supported by the Enterprise Desktop Service.

UKIC DV Clearance is Required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 3rd Line Technical Support for Enterprise Desktop Service.
  • Design and implement Desktop Images using standard technologies.
  • Deploy and support MDT & SCCM for system management.
  • Manage routine Desktop Patch and Image updates.
  • Maintain Virtualised Desktop Infrastructure.
  • Design and deliver Group Policy updates.

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

  • Strong expertise in Windows 7 & 10 Desktop Imaging
  • Proficient in Windows Lockdown via Group Policy (NSCS/Microsoft SCM)
  • Skilled in SCCM Current Branch (Implementation, OS/App Deployment, Patching, Endpoint Protection)
  • Expert in Microsoft Deployment Toolkit for small OS deployments
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory GPOs (including Applocker & Firewall)
  • Advanced troubleshooting with SysInternals tools (ProcMon, NetMon)
  • Experience with Citrix Virtualization (Desktops & Applications)
  • Familiar with Application Virtualization (App-V) & User Environment Virtualization (UE-V)
  • Clear and concise communicator (both verbal & written)
  • Able to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences
