The Role
As an IT Service Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting Business as Usual (BAU) IT across our client's customer base. From troubleshooting complex desktop, application, and network issues to implementing new digital transformation technologies, you'll be at the heart of keeping IT operations running smoothly.
- Troubleshoot & resolve IT issues across hardware, software, and network infrastructure
- Manage & monitor IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies
- Work with third-party vendors (Vodafone, Softcat) to deliver high-quality service
- Support onboarding/offboarding processes
- Provide expertise in Microsoft 365, Cisco Meraki, Azure, and Windows Servers
- Coach & mentor junior engineers, acting as an escalation point
- Flexible working - occasional out-of-hours support required
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years' experience in IT support or service engineering
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Office 365, Azure, Cisco Meraki
- Experience with networking, security, and cloud platforms
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Certifications such as ITIL, MCSE, or CompTIA are a plus
