The role: take new products for pharma from idea to revenue. The platform is where UK healthcare professionals find approved, trustworthy medicines information. We are moving it from a system of record to a system of insight: a platform that also understands how professionals engage with medicines information, and turns that into products the pharmaceutical industry values. You will lead new product development for our pharma customers.

You will start with products such as aRMM dissemination, which helps pharmaceutical companies get the additional risk minimisation materials that regulators require for some medicines to the professionals who need them, and scientific literature. You will be the single owner of your products and accountable for their outcome. You will have dedicated engineers and partner with our data science team, and you will direct shared design, research and product marketing capabilities.

What you'll own in your first 12 to 18 months:

  • Take aRMM dissemination from pilot to product line.
  • Turn early pilot customers into a repeatable, priced and supported product that pharma companies renew.
  • Run a repeatable ideation and validation pipeline.
  • Test new pharma product ideas, such as scientific literature, with real customers, and decide on evidence which earn investment.
  • Build the full package for each product.
  • Own proposition, positioning, pricing and packaging, and sales enablement, with product marketing and key account management.
  • Build on the platform's trust.
  • Shape products that use its position as the approved source of medicines information, with regulatory and content integrity designed in from the start.
  • Commit to outcomes.
  • Set and hit targets for adoption, renewal and revenue, and report progress plainly every week.

How we work:

  • The thing is the thing. We judge progress by what is live with users and what it is doing, and we debate the work on its evidence.
  • Strong positions, loosely held. You bring a clear point of view and change it quickly when the evidence does.
  • Start from the customer. Every significant initiative begins with a real customer, a real job to be done and a measurable outcome.
  • Write it down, show it working. A PR/FAQ states the outcome, a working demo shows the destination, and the roadmap sets out the thin slices that get us there.
  • Thin slices, real discipline. We ship small and often, commit to dates once the work is understood, and get the project management basics right.
  • Own the outcome. You are measured on what changes for customers and for the business.

What you'll bring:

We hire for four traits: curiosity, storytelling, inclination to action and commercial mindset. For this role, you will also bring:

  • Essential: Senior B2B product management experience, including at least one new product you took from zero to one and commercialised: priced, sold and adopted by enterprise customers.
  • Experience selling into enterprise buyers with complex, multi-stakeholder procurement, and joining sales conversations to shape the deal.
  • A track record of working backwards from customer problems, using continuous discovery and evidence to decide what to build.
  • Experience in a regulated or compliance-heavy domain, such as healthcare, life sciences, financial services or legal, and designing for compliance from day one.
  • A strong commercial grasp: pricing and packaging, business cases, retention and cost to serve.
  • Clear writing and compelling storytelling, including with senior customers and at external events.

Valuable: Experience in pharma or life sciences, particularly medical affairs, pharmacovigilance or regulatory affairs. Familiarity with UK medicines regulation and industry codes of practice. Experience building distribution, dissemination or content platforms for professional audiences.
