Job Description:
Are you a confident and proactive purchasing professional ready to make an impact from day one? This is your opportunity to join a collaborative team in a varied and rewarding Category Buyer role where no two days look the same.
The Role
You\’ll be at the heart of indirect procurement-one day coordinating the refurbishment of a canteen, the next sourcing paint for a new project. You\’ll manage category strategies, negotiate contracts, maintain supplier relationships, and identify opportunities for cost savings, inventory efficiency, and quality improvements.
What You\’ll Be Doing
Develop and execute category purchasing strategies for indirect goods and services.
Negotiate contracts, agreements, and supplier terms with confidence.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring performance meets expectations.
Work closely with internal teams at all levels to meet strategic objectives.
Analyse purchasing data to inform decisions and drive improvements.
What We\’re Looking For
Solid purchasing experience, ideally in indirect procurement.
Strong contract management and negotiation skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; Power BI experience a plus.
Comfortable working independently while being a strong team player.
