We are currently recruiting for a Supplier Tooling Governance Support Analyst to support a busy Strategic Procurement & Planning team based in Peterborough. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in the governance and management of supplier-held tooling across a global supply chain. Working closely with procurement teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure tooling records remain accurate, compliant, and audit-ready, while supporting wider business objectives around supply continuity, risk management, and operational excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a procurement, purchasing, operations, or governance background who enjoys working with data, processes, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tooling Governance & Operational Support
    • Respond to day-to-day queries within the Supplier Tooling Management System (STMS)
    • Validate, maintain, and update tooling records to ensure data accuracy
    • Monitor supplier-held tooling information and proactively identify risks or discrepancies
    • Support governance processes and compliance activities
  • Process & Documentation
    • Create, update, and maintain Standard Work Instructions (SWIs)
    • Manage governance templates, process documentation, and reference materials
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process alignment activities
  • Supplier & Stakeholder Support
    • Assist with supplier enquiries relating to tooling governance
    • Support procurement teams with tooling ownership and compliance-related queries
    • Coordinate activities across multiple teams to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution
  • Governance & Audit Support
    • Support governance reviews, meetings, and audit preparation activities
    • Prepare data and supporting documentation for internal audits and compliance reviews
    • Help maintain audit readiness and strong governance standards

Skills & Experience Required

  • Essential
    • Previous purchasing, procurement, or supplier management experience
    • Understanding of supplier tooling concepts and governance processes
    • Strong Excel and data handling skills
    • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to manage both administrative and technical responsibilities
  • Desirable
    • Experience using tooling management systems
    • Experience working within audit, compliance, or governance-focused environments
