About the role

We're looking for an SEO / GEO Specialist to take ownership of organic search performance for a large international eCommerce storefront. This role is focused on driving high-quality organic traffic and revenue through technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and emerging AI / Generative Search (GEO) techniques. You'll work closely with Product, Marketing and Development teams to improve how our products and categories perform in both traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences. This is a hands-on role in a small, collaborative team where you'll have real ownership and visibility of your work.

What you'll be doing

  • Owning the SEO roadmap for an international eCommerce website
  • Running technical SEO audits and leading fixes (indexing, crawlability, canonicals, site structure, mobile and speed)
  • Optimising product and category pages (titles, meta data, headings, internal links, schema)
  • Using GA4 and Google Search Console to identify opportunities and measure impact
  • Working with Product and Development teams to feed SEO requirements into the backlog
  • Partnering with Marketing on content and link-building initiatives
  • Producing clear monthly SEO performance reports and recommendations
  • Supporting Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) by structuring content for AI-driven search results (Google AI Overviews, conversational search, Q&A formats)

What we're looking for

  • 3-5 years' experience in SEO, ideally within eCommerce or large websites
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO and on-page optimisation
  • Confident using GA4 and Google Search Console to drive decisions
  • Experience with structured data / schema, internal linking and index management
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, marketing and developers
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with clear communication skills

Nice to have (but not essential):

  • Experience with BrightEdge or similar SEO tools
  • Exposure to Generative / AI search optimisation
  • Google Ads or GAIQ certification
