Development Engineer - Fuel Systems
to join an established engineering team in Peterborough, working on exciting new diesel engine programmes and taking projects from development through to production. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll have the opportunity to own fuel system development activities, solve complex technical problems and work closely with suppliers and cross-functional engineering
teams. You'll be involved in design reviews, supplier development, technical risk assessment, validation and testing, as well as supporting the resolution of engineering issues through structured problem-solving.
What we're looking for
5+ years' relevant engineering experience. Strong experience in fuel system development. Proven knowledge of high-pressure fuel systems. Experience with diesel or reciprocating engines. Good understanding of mechanical engineering and manufacturing principles. Experience with APQP, FMEA and DVP&R would be advantageous. Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. Off-highway diesel engine experience would be highly desirable. Experience with CAD, PLM systems, simulation, rig testing or system testing would also be beneficial.
