We\’re Hiring: 3rd Line Network Specialist
Location: London / Hybrid
Full-time Role
Salary: £75,000 base plus benefits, perks and healthcare options
What You\’ll Be Doing:
- Provide expert 3rd line support for network-related incidents, changes, and service requests
- Take ownership of escalated tickets and manage them through to resolution
- Design and implement infrastructure changes based on client requirements
- Collaborate closely with the 2nd Line Service Desk and Solution Delivery teams
- Mentor 2nd Line engineers and contribute to their technical development
- Create and maintain documentation, including Visio diagrams and technical summaries
- Participate in DR/failover testing and on-call support for critical issues
- Support new customer projects through configuration and technical input
Our Technical Landscape Includes:
- Switching & Wireless: Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, HP, Dell, Juniper
- SD-WAN: Meraki, Viptela, Citrix, Nuage, Fortinet
What You\’ll Bring:
- Strong technical foundation equivalent to CCNP or JNCIP-ENT level
- Solid experience troubleshooting Layer 2/3 protocols, OSPF and BGP
- Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise firewall: Palo Alto, Fortigate, or Cisco ASA
- Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve complex network issues
- Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment
- Familiarity with cloud networking and automation tools
