We are seeking a commercially focused and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to support pipeline growth across the UK & Ireland (UKI) region. This role is responsible for generating pipeline through a mix of inbound and outbound activities, engaging enterprise and mid‑market accounts, and working closely with Account Executives and cross‑functional teams to support revenue growth. Candidates should be based within reasonable proximity to London and able to attend the office as needed for collaboration, team sessions, and in‑person engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate pipeline across the UKI region through a combination of outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow‑up
  • Identify, research, and engage prospective customers across enterprise and mid‑market accounts
  • Qualify marketing‑generated leads into high‑quality sales opportunities
  • Partner with Account Executives to support account research, outreach strategies, and territory development
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, events, and follow‑up execution
  • Work cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Channel teams to identify new opportunities
  • Communicate the value of Genesys’ cloud and CX solutions aligned to customer needs and business challenges
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking, pipeline updates, and reporting in Salesforce
  • Consistently meet and exceed KPIs related to meetings booked, pipeline generated, and opportunity conversion

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or sales‑related role within SaaS, CX, or technology environments
  • Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders
  • Mature, professional, and commercially aware mindset
  • Highly organized with strong time‑management and prioritization skills
  • Experience using Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools preferred
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams
  • Based within commuting distance of London and able to attend the office when required
