The Product Marketing Manager at Sage is a strategic position that shapes and drives the growth of the business. Reporting to the Head of PMM, SMB, this role develops and maintains a deep understanding of customers, market dynamics/trends and competitors; then leverages these insights to contribute to the design of Sage's global growth strategy and new/updates to value propositions.

As a Product Marketing Manager at Sage, you will lead the strategy and value proposition for our Small Business, including areas like Sage for Partners and our Accountant and Bookkeeping Directory. This role focuses on translating customer and market insight into go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging that drives growth and resonates with small business owners, business partners and accountants. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week in our London or Newcastle office.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead customer and market research to shape product direction and identify new opportunities. Working closely with product, sales, and regional teams, you will develop value propositions that clearly articulate Sage's benefits and competitive edge. You will plan and execute go-to-market strategies for launches and campaigns, aligning them with broader business goals.

Your role will also include creating clear and insights backed ideal customer profiles, customer value propositions, and GTM strategy, ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints. You will be a key voice of the customer within the company, sharing insights, influencing strategy, and shaping how Sage should be positioned for our new type of Partner ICP focused on small business.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who enjoys building, pushing for innovation and taking ownership with solid product marketing experience in B2B SaaS or tech. You will need strong research, messaging, and go-to-market skills, as well as the ability to work across teams and influence senior stakeholders.

You should be growth minded, creative, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A background in market segmentation, positioning, and product launches is key. A Bachelor's or Master's degree is preferred, with 3+ years of experience in product marketing or related roles.
