Job Purpose: To provide financial expertise and support to specific business units or departments within the organisation, and act as a liaison between the finance function and various business units, helping to bridge the gap between financial data and business decisions.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement business unit financial strategies, plans and budgets.
  • Build financial models to forecast future performance, assess investment opportunities and evaluate financial risks.
  • Provide financial insights and guidance to business unit stakeholders and support cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities and implement financial process improvements to streamline operations.
  • Support business units in identifying, assessing and mitigating financial risks, including training on risk management and compliance.
  • Analyse and present financial data to provide performance insights and support decision‑making.

Requirements / Experience:

  • Experience as primary finance business partner to senior leadership in fintech, payments or related industry.
  • Strong background in financial forecasting, ROI modelling and investment case development.
  • Ability to lead the development of robust forecasts, scenario models and long‑range plans.
  • Capacity to build and own investment case frameworks and evaluate new opportunities.
  • Experience developing ROI frameworks and performance tracking tools.
  • Excellent communication skills – translate complex financial analysis into clear narratives for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
