Job Description

Network and Security Field Engineer (Checkpoint Maestro, Cisco ASA & F5 required)
6 Month Contract
Farnborough
£320-£340/day (Inside IR35)

We are seeking a skilled Network and Security Field Engineer for a 6-month rolling contract, with two site locations in Harlow and Farnborough. The role is set to begin ASAP, in early March 2025. Hands-on experience with Checkpoint Maestro, F5 and Cisco ASA is required.

This position requires flexibility, as it involves a hybrid remote work arrangement with 3 days/week working on-site along with shift-based work outside normal hours.

A chance to work with an established global IT and Digital transformation consultancy for an end client in the Telecoms domain.

  • All round experience with Checkpoint Maestro, Cisco ASA, and F5 required.
  • Experience with Checkpoint Quantum Security Gateways, Checkpoint CloudGuard, Checkpoint Harmony
  • Experience in onsite Planning, Troubleshooting, and Configuring changes.
  • Technical support of the customer's Security Infrastructure estate, processes + documentation.
  • Security + Firewall incidents, changes, modifications, projects + rule bases.
  • Providing technical support, change management (remote/physical)
  • Telecoms domain experience is advantageous
