Dals is currently seeking English speakers to join our telephone/video interpreting service. Do you speak English and another language? Then we would like to hear from you!
Who are we? Dals is a language service provider working with Public and Private sector clients across the UK (e.g. NHS, local councils, international corporations). We help non-English speakers access essential services, such as medical care, by providing interpreters of over 512 languages and dialects.
You will provide accurate telephone/video interpreting for our clients and non or limited English speakers. This will allow them to communicate with each other and exchange important information. This is a highly rewarding opportunity; you will need to be able to think on your feet and deliver great linguistic skills.
The type of calls will include but are not limited to:
- Medical appointments
- Meetings with public officials
- Legal matters and immigration meetings
- Social services
- Child protection appointments

This role is completely flexible β you can choose when and for how long you are available. You simply log into our telephone and video interpreting app.
As this is a freelance opportunity, you will be responsible for your own tax payments.
